Troubleshooting

Before filing an issue:

1. Check here for any issues you might face.
2. Search in Issues in case someone has the same problem.
3. If that doesn’t work, feel free to open an Issue on GitHub with the details (and hide your personal info!).

Common Issues

'pip' is not recognized as an internal or external command

Solution

Make sure Python is added to your PATH during installation. Check the “Add Python to PATH” box in the Windows Python installer. Tutorial.

The script is installed in directory, which is not PATH

Solution

Add the script’s directory to your system’s PATH variable or use an absolute path when running commands. You can also use the setup.bat and start.bat scripts that are on ./scripts/Windows/.

Error when running the program in the temp directory

Solution

Extract the files from the .zip file which you downloaded. This program cannot run inside a compressed environment. You must extract it to a folder first.

My config file isn’t working!

Solution

Check if your program.yml and account,yml files are incorrectly formatted. Make sure your values (like emails or passwords) have the correct quotes around them and that the file uses exactly two spaces for indentation.

Browser frozen on password reset screen

If you are running in Reset mode and pressing the password reset button does nothing:

Solution

Your reset token might be expired or invalid. Re-do the password reset steps from the Setup guide to get a fresh token.

Browser stays open after program finishes

After the program finishes (success or failure), the browser window remains open and you need to press Enter in the terminal to close it.

Solution

This is intentional behavior. It allows you to manually verify the login or perform additional actions. Simply press Enter in the terminal to close the browser.
